Work-life balance is a real challenge here
Pros: You learn a ton, especially as a Senior Consultant in management consulting. The project variety means you're always picking up new skills. Our hybrid setup helps a bit, saving some commute time.
Cons: Work-life balance is tough; 60-hour weeks are pretty common. It's hard to make plans outside of work sometimes. They preach flexibility, but client demands often overrule it.
Advice to Management: Try to better manage client expectations on project timelines. Encourage managers to really protect their teams' off-hours more consistently. Burnout is a real concern.
