Pretty Solid Work Flexibility, With Some Caveats
Pros: As a Product Manager, I've really appreciated the WFH policy. It's great to be remote from Austin, TX, especially compared to some other big tech companies that are forcing everyone back. The hybrid model is truly flexible here.
Cons: Sometimes, managing projects across global teams means late night or early morning calls. It's not always easy to align schedules, which can impact my personal time. There isn't always consistency with how different managers approach hybrid work.
Advice to Management: Try to standardize meeting times to better respect different time zones. More flexible scheduling for mandatory syncs would help.

Hybrid is okay, but could be better for engineers
Pros: I've enjoyed the hybrid work model; it's mostly 3 days in the Newark, California office. For a software engineer, having that balance is pretty good. There's a decent amount of trust, especially if you get your work done.
Cons: Sometimes it feels like 'hybrid' just means you're always on calls. It's tough to get real WFH days approved consistently when projects get intense. Some teams in the consumer electronics division aren't as flexible as others.
Advice to Management: Refine the hybrid policy to be more consistent across teams. Trust employees more with true WFH options when it makes sense for their roles, especially for deep work.

Logitech has decent benefits, inconsistent culture
Pros: Benefits are pretty solid, and it's a stable big tech company. For product designer roles, you get to work on some genuinely cool tech products. The Newark, CA office is modern too.
Cons: Company culture isn't super consistent everywhere. Some teams feel really siloed off, which can make collaboration tough. It's hard to feel a strong company-wide connection.
Advice to Management: Focus on making the company culture more cohesive across all groups. Encourage more internal networking and shared goals.

Solid Brand, But Job Security Has Its Moments
Pros: Logitech's a well-known brand in consumer electronics, so the company itself feels stable. For engineering roles, there's always work, and you're not constantly worried about the next funding round. It's a big tech company after all.
Cons: Job security isn't rock solid, though. They have layoffs and reorgs periodically, which can shake things up. The peripherals market is pretty competitive, so things can shift fast even for a corporate giant.
Advice to Management: Try to communicate more transparently about upcoming organizational changes. It helps a lot with employee morale and reduces anxiety among staff working in the Newark, CA office.

Culture is good, but work balance is tough
Pros: You work with really smart folks. The teams are usually collaborative, which is nice in the consumer electronics industry. Plus, they're pretty good about letting you work remote from anywhere in the USA.
Cons: There's a lot of pressure to deliver, especially for a Product Manager role. It can feel like you're always on call, impacting your work-life balance. Decisions can also take a long time to get approved through all the layers.
Advice to Management: Try to streamline the decision-making process. Help teams protect their time better from constant requests.

Solid Company, Culture Needs Some Consistency
Pros: I've met some really smart folks here. There's good team spirit, especially within Product Manager roles. Our hybrid work model in the San Jose, CA office is a huge plus for flexibility.
Cons: It can feel very corporate at times. Decision-making for new consumer electronics products can be slow. Innovation sometimes gets bogged down by too many processes.
Advice to Management: Try to empower teams more and speed up product launch decisions. Cut down on unnecessary layers and bureaucracy.

Hybrid work is okay, but not truly flexible
Pros: As a Software Engineer, the hybrid work setup (3 days in the Newark, CA office) is predictable. You can largely set your own hours within the day, which helps with personal appointments. It's a solid option for those who prefer some office time.
Cons: True WFH flexibility isn't really there. If you're looking for full remote work in big tech, this isn't it. The 3-day onsite rule is pretty strict for hardware development roles, making it tough if you have a long commute.
Advice to Management: Consider more flexible options for experienced Software Engineers, especially around the hybrid model. Trust your teams more for remote work, especially for non-hardware specific tasks.

Leadership is a mixed bag in San Jose
Pros: Some senior leaders are genuinely inspiring. They really understand the consumer electronics industry. As a Product Manager, you get decent autonomy on your projects.
Cons: The vision from mid-management can be pretty inconsistent. It often feels like there's too much focus on short-term wins. In our hybrid work model, leadership visibility is low on remote days.
Advice to Management: Try to create a more consistent vision across all management levels. Also, make sure leaders are more present and engaged with teams, especially those working under a hybrid model.

Logitech: Solid, but culture needs a boost
Pros: The people you work with are usually really smart and dedicated, especially within the gaming industry product teams. There's a decent work-life balance most weeks, not crazy hours. Benefits are solid for a corporate environment.
Cons: The company culture feels a bit fragmented. It's tough to get excited about new initiatives, things just move too slowly. The hybrid setup means less spontaneous collaboration, which hurts team spirit.
Advice to Management: Listen more to the mid-level employees. Try to foster a more unified culture across different departments. Speed up the decision process a bit.

Work-life balance is decent for engineers
Pros: The hybrid model in the Newark, CA office is a solid perk, offering good work flexibility some days. As a software engineer, I usually stick to a 40-45 hour week, which is manageable. It's not as intense as some other big tech companies.
Cons: You hit crunch periods when new consumer electronics products are launching, especially around Q4. During these times, the work-life balance can definitely suffer, and you'll put in more hours. There isn't much flexibility during those specific high-pressure sprints.
Advice to Management: Try to smooth out the crunch periods for hardware development and consumer electronics launches. More proactive planning could help prevent the last-minute pressure on engineers.
