Decent Work-Life, But Expect MedTech Pace
Pros: Work-life balance was generally good, especially with their hybrid work model. I could usually stick to 40-45 hour weeks as a Product Manager. The team was supportive, which helped a lot when things got hectic.
Cons: Sometimes, projects in the dental implants space had tight deadlines. That meant longer hours were unavoidable, especially before big product launches. It wasn't constant, but it could be tough during those crunch times.
Advice to Management: Try to better manage project scope and timelines. It would really help even out the workload for product development teams.

Leadership is a mixed bag here, honestly
Pros: I really liked the work itself as a Senior Product Development Engineer; developing new dental implants and surgical instruments was genuinely engaging. There's good job security in the medical device industry, and the benefits package is pretty solid for a global corporate company.
Cons: Leadership can be pretty out of touch with the day-to-day for engineering roles. They often make decisions without much input from the teams doing the actual medical device manufacturing, which causes rework. Communication from upper management sometimes felt like an afterthought.
Advice to Management: Try to involve R&D and engineering teams more in strategic planning. Better communication from the top down would make a huge difference in the hybrid work environment.

Leadership can be a mixed bag here
Pros: The company has a solid reputation in the dental implant and clear aligner space. I got to work on really innovative products for dental professionals. The base pay and benefits package were decent for a corporate environment.
Cons: Leadership at the director and VP level changes pretty often. It's tough to get consistent direction when new strategies get rolled out every year. This constant churn made career growth feel unpredictable.
Advice to Management: Try to foster more stable leadership teams, especially within the product development and marketing departments. Employees, especially Product Managers, need clear, consistent vision to truly excel and build impactful products for the dental industry.
