Okay flexibility for a global company
Pros: I liked that as a Quality Control Auditor, my administrative tasks could often be done remote from Lisbon. It's a global company so some teams have a hybrid model, which is nice. There's some wiggle room for scheduling smaller inspections too.
Cons: For actual product inspections at manufacturing sites, flexibility is low. You have to be onsite when the client needs you. Last-minute supply chain audits mean sudden travel, which can be tough on personal life. Don't expect a lot of control over your hours in field roles.
Advice to Management: Try to empower auditors more with scheduling tools. Maybe offer more specific WFH days for admin if possible, even for field staff.

Pay's rough for Quality Assurance Specialists
Pros: The remote work is genuinely good; I appreciate the WFH option from Berlin. Health insurance benefits are pretty standard, nothing fancy but they're there. PTO is okay, not amazing but not bad either.
Cons: The pay for Quality Assurance Specialist roles isn't competitive at all. Raises are super small, barely keeping up with inflation. Don't count on big bonuses; they're rare for our inspection services.
Advice to Management: Review salary bands for all global roles, especially for experienced professionals in inspection services. Be more transparent about bonus structures.

Quality Control Inspector

Decent place for remote quality work.
Pros: I've enjoyed the remote work flexibility. It's nice not commuting, especially as a Quality Control Inspector, where I can manage my own schedule for audits. The team itself is pretty supportive, even with us all being WFH.
Cons: Company culture can feel a bit disconnected since everyone's remote. It's hard to build real camaraderie. There's not much informal recognition for good work; leadership sometimes feels far away in this big corporate setup.
Advice to Management: Try to foster more connection among remote teams. Maybe more virtual team-building or direct recognition programs for people in quality assurance roles working in supply chain management. It would help a lot.
