Good team, but career path isn't clear here

It's been an okay experience overall. The team is solid, but if you're looking for a clear path up, it's tough. I worked here for a couple of years as a Junior Geologist.

Pros

I've learned a ton as a Junior Geologist. The folks in the Denver, CO office are really collaborative. We handle interesting projects in the resources industry, which is a big plus.

Cons

Career growth here is definitely a weak spot. There aren't many development opportunities or clear promotion tracks. It feels like you hit a ceiling pretty fast, especially for early career roles.

Advice to Management

Managers need to create better internal training and define clearer pathways for career advancement. Investing in employee development would help a lot with retention.

Culture's Decent, But Needs More Support
Pros: The team members are really solid and supportive, which helps a lot, especially as a Project Coordinator. I appreciate the hybrid work option; it's a good balance for my week in the Chicago office.
Cons: It's tough to feel like your hard work gets noticed here. The overall company culture can feel pretty corporate and a bit impersonal sometimes. There's not always a clear path for growth in project management roles.
Advice to Management: Focus on better employee recognition programs and create more transparent career development paths for individual contributors. It would really boost morale and engagement.

Culture's Changed, But Some Good Parts Remain
Pros: I genuinely liked my direct team in the Atlanta office. We had a solid bond, which really helped navigate the high-volume nature of the staffing industry. Everyone was pretty supportive.
Cons: The company culture has definitely shifted towards just hitting numbers. It's tough to feel valued sometimes. The hybrid model makes connecting with leadership even harder now.
Advice to Management: Try to reconnect with the teams and bring back some of the old community feel. Focus on employee well-being beyond just performance metrics. Show us you care.

Job Security is Okay, Growth is Slow
Pros: You'll find consistent work as a Project Coordinator here. The benefits package is pretty decent for the Dallas office, especially the health insurance. It's generally a low-stress environment if you're looking for stability.
Cons: There isn't much room for upward movement for mid-level roles, which can be frustrating. Growth initiatives sometimes get cut, making job security feel a little less solid at times. Remote work options are super limited; it's mostly onsite here.
Advice to Management: Focus more on clear career paths for employees and be transparent about future growth plans. Consider offering more hybrid work options to attract and retain talent in the competitive resource management industry.
