TP-Link Malaysia: Decent Pay, Job Security's a Real Worry
Pros: The salary for Sales Manager roles in the consumer electronics industry is actually competitive, which is a big plus. You get to work with some solid products and gain good exposure to the Malaysian market.
Cons: Job security feels pretty shaky sometimes, especially if your sales targets aren't consistently met. There's a constant pressure to perform. Management can make sudden changes that leave you wondering about your future in this corporate environment.
Advice to Management: Try to offer more stability and clearer long-term plans for the sales team. Better communication on strategy would really help ease concerns about job security.

Solid Stability in Networking Industry
Pros: The main perk is definitely job security. It's a big, established name in consumer electronics, so the company feels stable. I didn't worry about layoffs much in the Kuala Lumpur office.
Cons: Career growth can feel a bit slow sometimes. You don't see a lot of rapid movement up the ladder. For Product Support Specialist roles, it can get repetitive after a while.
Advice to Management: Managers should focus more on career development plans for employees. Give us more chances to learn new skills or move to other departments. It would help keep things fresh.

Leadership needs to step it up a bit
Pros: The product range is solid, good for selling networking hardware. Pay is decent for a Sales Executive in Kuala Lumpur. They offer a hybrid work setup, which is nice.
Cons: Leadership can be a bit disconnected; it's tough getting clear direction. Sometimes you feel like management doesn't quite get the day-to-day challenges for IT distribution sales. There's not enough support from senior leadership for development.
Advice to Management: Focus on clearer communication and empower your team leads. Senior leadership needs to listen more to staff on the ground to understand real challenges.
