Hybrid Model Helps, But Work Can Be Heavy
Pros: I actually like the hybrid work policy; it lets me WFH a couple of days a week. That really cuts down on commute time to the Singapore office, which is a plus. The team environment is generally supportive when things get crazy.
Cons: Despite the hybrid model, the work-life balance for my Claims Adjuster role isn't always great. There's a lot of pressure during peak periods in the general insurance sector, and I've found myself working longer hours than I'd like. It's tough to truly disconnect sometimes.
Advice to Management: Try to manage workloads better, especially for core operational roles like Claims Adjusters. More resources during peak times would improve work-life balance significantly.

Solid Benefits, But Salary Growth is Slow
Pros: The health benefits are pretty decent for a corporate insurance giant. You get good medical coverage and some dental. As a Claims Adjuster, I found the annual leave policy quite fair compared to other general insurance companies in Singapore.
Cons: Salary increases are a real challenge here, even with good performance. Bonuses aren't as competitive as I'd hoped for in this market. It's tough for career growth too if you're not in a high-visibility underwriting role.
Advice to Management: Review your compensation structure to retain talent, especially for core roles like Claims Adjusters. Make sure salary growth keeps pace with the industry.
