Pros: They do offer some hybrid options, which is good. For certain engineering roles, you can sometimes work from home a couple of days a week. It's helpful when you don't need to be physically at the Kuala Lumpur office.
Cons: Realistically, for most of us in construction projects, full remote work isn't an option. There's often pressure to be onsite, making true work flexibility hard. It can be tough to juggle personal appointments with strict project timelines.
Advice to Management: Try to standardize WFH policies more across different departments, even for site-based engineering roles where possible. Give teams more autonomy to decide schedules.
