Culture is decent, but things are shifting
It's been an interesting ride at C27. The early days felt really collaborative, but it's gotten a bit more corporate lately. Still, there are good people here.
I really enjoyed the collaborative vibe, especially as a Software Engineer. The team in the San Francisco office was always willing to help out. We had a pretty solid hybrid work model which was great for flexibility.
The company culture has definitely changed. It feels less like a tight-knit tech startup now. There's more bureaucracy, and sometimes communication drops off between teams, which makes project coordination tough.
Try to get back to what made the early culture special. Focus on clear communication and empower teams more.
