Okay work-life balance, but client projects get intense
Pros: The hybrid model is a real plus for work flexibility in the New York office. It's nice to have a couple of remote days each week as a Software Engineer, which helps a lot with personal stuff.
Cons: When you're deep into digital transformation projects, those 40-hour weeks can easily stretch. Client demands in IT consulting mean late nights sometimes, and it's tough to consistently maintain balance.
Advice to Management: Try to better protect team members' time during intense project phases. It's hard to push back on client requests sometimes, but consistent long hours aren't sustainable.

Okay Culture for a Consulting Role
Pros: The teams are generally really friendly and supportive, which is great when you're new to IT consulting. I've found a good sense of camaraderie, especially in the Paris office. People are usually happy to help out.
Cons: Sometimes the company culture feels a bit too corporate and hierarchical. Communication from leadership could be better; it's not always clear. The hybrid work model also makes it tough to build consistent team bonds.
Advice to Management: Try to improve transparency from senior leadership. Also, find ways to strengthen team cohesion, especially with the hybrid work model in place.

Okay flexibility, but it's project dependent
Pros: You usually get some work from home days. The hybrid model for our Singapore office is a definite plus. For most IT consulting roles, there's a bit of wiggle room when you need it.
Cons: True flexibility often depends on your specific client project. Some projects demand full-time onsite work, which can be really tough. It's not always easy to get consistent work from home if your client pushes back.
Advice to Management: Try to standardize WFH policies more consistently across all client projects. Make it easier for IT Consultants to plan their week without constant uncertainty.

VISEO: Decent Teams, Leadership Needs Work
Pros: You get to work on some cool digital transformation projects, which is great for building experience in IT consulting. The hybrid model for work flexibility is a big plus. My direct managers were supportive, making daily tasks easier.
Cons: Higher-level leadership often feels out of touch with day-to-day project realities. Communication about strategic shifts can be vague, leaving employees in the dark. There isn't always clear guidance for career growth from senior management.
Advice to Management: Work on improving transparency in company-wide communications from the top. Encourage more hands-on involvement from senior leadership to understand project-level challenges better. Provide clearer mentorship for career progression.

Hybrid is okay, but it's project dependent
Pros: I did get some hybrid work arrangements, which was nice. For IT consulting roles, having any remote options is a plus. It's good to avoid the New York City commute daily.
Cons: True work flexibility is often just a buzzword here. Some projects require you to be onsite 5 days a week. It can be tough to balance your personal life with client demands.
Advice to Management: Management needs to standardize hybrid work policies. Don't let client demands completely dictate a consultant's flexibility. Push for more remote-friendly projects where possible.

Work-Life Balance for Consultants is Okay
Pros: I like their hybrid model for consultants. It's nice to WFH a few days a week, especially from the Paris office. Some IT consulting projects have pretty standard hours, around 40 a week.
Cons: But if you're on a demanding digital transformation project, forget a 40-hour week. You're often working late nights. There's also pressure to be available even after business hours.
Advice to Management: Try to enforce stricter boundaries on project hours for consultants. Managing client expectations better would help prevent burnout on digital transformation initiatives.

Flexibility is Okay, Client Projects Dictate It
Pros: There's good hybrid work flexibility when I'm not on a client site in the New York office. For general IT consulting roles, management tries to be understanding about personal appointments. It's a decent setup for some projects.
Cons: True flexibility often depends on the client. Many client projects demand full-time onsite presence, making remote options tough. Sometimes you're expected to be available for international calls outside typical US business hours, which impacts work-life balance.
Advice to Management: Try to standardize hybrid work policies across more client projects. This would really help IT Consultants manage their schedules better and improve overall morale.

Work-life balance is a real challenge
Pros: The people are great, genuinely. You get to work on cool digital transformation projects, which is solid for career growth as a Consultant. The Paris office is pretty central too, which is a plus.
Cons: Work-life balance is definitely tough. I often found myself putting in really long hours, especially on big IT consulting projects. It's not a true hybrid model; you're expected in the office a lot.
Advice to Management: Seriously look at project scope and resourcing to prevent Consultant burnout. Encourage people to actually take their PTO without guilt, especially after intense project phases.

Good projects, but career growth stalls
Pros: I've gotten to work on some pretty cool, diverse projects as a Consultant here. It's an IT consulting firm, so you get exposure to different industries and tech stacks, which is good for learning. The hybrid work model in the New York City office is also a solid perk.
Cons: The biggest issue for me has been career growth. There isn't a super clear promotion path, and I've felt a bit stuck on similar assignments. Mentorship from senior leadership is often lacking, making it tough to see what's next for my professional development.
Advice to Management: Invest more in formal mentorship programs and clearly outline promotion criteria for all consultant levels. Give us more opportunities to lead smaller initiatives to build experience.

Leadership is Decent, Room for Improvement
Pros: You get to work on diverse digital transformation projects, which is cool for learning new tech. My direct managers are usually pretty supportive and understand the hybrid work model well, making work-life balance manageable.
Cons: Upper leadership often feels disconnected from daily project realities. Communication from the top about company vision isn't always clear for a global consulting firm our size. This can make some strategic decisions feel random and hard to understand.
Advice to Management: Focus on improving transparent communication from senior leaders. Try to connect more with the daily challenges faced by IT Consultants on digital transformation projects, especially regarding strategic direction.
