Pay is alright, but benefits need work
Pros: As an Operations Specialist, the base salary in this financial services industry is pretty decent. It's a stable corporate environment and the pay structure is transparent.
Cons: However, the health insurance costs can really eat into your paycheck. Don't expect amazing benefits like in big tech; especially considering our focus on fund administration, they feel a bit behind.
Advice to Management: Review the benefits package, particularly health insurance contributions, to make CACEIS more competitive. It would really help with employee retention and overall satisfaction.

Career growth can be slow sometimes
Pros: I've gained solid experience in asset servicing and fund administration here. There are good internal training modules available if you seek them out. You definitely learn the ropes of the financial services industry well.
Cons: Career progression for junior roles feels really slow sometimes. It's a very corporate environment, so the promotion cycle can be rigid. It's tough to move between departments unless you've been here for ages, especially in the Luxembourg office.
Advice to Management: Try to make the promotion path clearer for junior staff. It would help a lot if there were more defined routes for internal mobility and skill development, especially for us working onsite.

Decent for Operations, but flexibility is tough
Pros: I've learned a ton as an Operations Specialist here. The teams in the Paris office are solid, and you get decent exposure to different parts of asset servicing. Job security feels strong in this large corporate environment.
Cons: Work flexibility isn't great, which makes work-life balance a struggle sometimes. They really push for onsite work, so remote options are super limited. It's tough when you're tied to the office every day.
Advice to Management: Management needs to seriously rethink WFH policies and trust their teams more. It's tough to attract and keep good talent in the financial services industry with such rigid rules around where and how people work.
