Culture at Pfizer: It's a Mixed Bag
Working as a Research Scientist at Pfizer, I found the company culture to be a bit challenging. While there are smart people and good benefits, the slow corporate pace and bureaucracy can be tough on daily work and innovation.
You get solid benefits and the pay for a Research Scientist in the pharmaceutical industry is pretty good. There's a lot of smart people to learn from, especially if you're working onsite in Groton, CT.
The company culture can feel really bureaucratic and slow. It's hard to make quick decisions, which isn't great for innovative drug development. Sometimes you just feel like a tiny cog in a huge corporate machine.
Try to empower teams more and streamline decision-making processes. A bit more trust in employees could really help boost morale and foster a more dynamic company culture.
