Work Flexibility is Just Okay Here
Working at Pfizer as a Clinical Project Manager had its ups and downs. The work itself was interesting, focusing on new pharmaceutical developments, but the flexibility really varied.
I appreciate that some teams, especially for clinical research roles, have decent hybrid work options. If your manager is cool, you can get a good schedule, which is a plus for a big corporate environment.
It's not consistent across the board. Work flexibility really depends on your specific department and manager. Some groups are still pretty strict about being onsite, making it tough to balance things.
Try to standardize remote and hybrid policies. Don't leave so much up to individual manager discretion. It creates unfairness between teams.
