Pros: The pay is pretty decent for a corporate manufacturing job in Penang. You know what to expect daily; the production schedule is usually stable. It's a reliable place for those who prefer consistent onsite work.
Cons: Work flexibility? Forget about it, especially as a Manufacturing Engineer. It's strictly an onsite role, no WFH options even for tasks that could easily be remote. They aren't great about adjusting for personal stuff, so hours are pretty rigid.
Advice to Management: Management should really consider offering some WFH options for roles that can support it, even just part-time.
