Pros: As a Production Engineer here, the day-to-day usually isn't too crazy. My team is really solid and helps out a lot, especially with tricky machinery manufacturing issues. It's an onsite work environment, so collaboration is easy.
Cons: During peak industrial production, work-life balance pretty much disappears. You're looking at long hours, sometimes including weekends, which makes planning personal time tough. It's hard to get approval for leave when projects are tight at the Shah Alam plant.
Advice to Management: Management should really try to staff up more during peak times to ease the workload on existing Production Engineer teams. It would help a lot with burnout and make leave more accessible.
