Leadership Can Be A Mixed Bag Here

Pros: Some senior managers in the HR consulting industry are genuinely supportive. They offer pretty decent guidance on individual projects and for learning new human capital solutions. There's a chance to learn if you seek it out, especially as a new Management Trainee.
Cons: Leadership here really varies from department to department. The top brass often seems disconnected from the day-to-day work, which impacts morale for HR roles. Sometimes decisions feel rushed without proper employee input.
Advice to Management: Management really needs to unify their vision and communicate more effectively with all staff, not just senior levels. More consistent training for team leads would help a lot across all departments. Show more

Pay is Okay, But Benefits Need Improvement

Pros: For an HR Administrator role, the starting base salary in the Kuala Lumpur office was pretty decent. They do provide basic medical coverage, which is a solid foundation.
Cons: Annual raises are often minimal, making salary growth tough after a couple of years. Don't count on much for performance bonuses in this management consulting environment. Other perks like dental aren't really there.
Advice to Management: Management should really look into improving the benefits package and creating a clearer, more competitive path for salary increases. This would help with retention for consultants and administrators alike. Show more
