Decent Work-Life, But Be Ready for Peaks

Pros: The work-life balance for a Production Planner is generally okay. You'll usually get your weekends free, which is solid. Most of the work is done during business hours in the Shah Alam office.
Cons: It's tough when unexpected issues hit in the manufacturing industry. The workload can spike significantly during peak production, making it hard to maintain that balance. You don't always feel like you can truly switch off.
Advice to Management: Try to staff up during known peak seasons to ease the pressure on supply chain operations. It's hard for people in roles like Production Planner to avoid burnout when things get really intense. Show more

Okay place, but culture needs work.

Pros: The team itself is pretty solid, especially for a mid-size corporate environment. I found colleagues really supportive, which helped a lot as a Marketing Executive. The Kuala Lumpur office location is also convenient for commute.
Cons: It's tough when leadership doesn't quite get modern work needs. There's not much work flexibility, so it's mostly onsite, which can feel restrictive. The company culture feels a bit stagnant sometimes, making it hard to feel really engaged.
Advice to Management: Focus on modernizing management styles and improving employee engagement, especially for the onsite team. More work flexibility would really help morale and show you trust your employees. Show more
