Work-Life Balance Is Decent, But Can Improve
Pros: You get solid compensation for a tech startup in San Francisco, which is a big plus. The team culture among other Software Engineers is really supportive, making daily tasks easier. There's some remote flexibility if you coordinate well.
Cons: Work-life balance can be tough, especially with tight deadlines and agile sprints. It's not uncommon to put in longer hours as a Software Engineer, which can affect your personal time. Management really pushes for those product launches.
Advice to Management: Try to manage project scopes better to avoid burnout, especially for engineering roles. More realistic deadlines would help a lot.

Okay place, but really rigid on remote work
Pros: The team is super supportive, which is great for software development projects. I learned a lot on the technical side. Pay and benefits are decent for the San Francisco area.
Cons: My biggest issue was work flexibility. As a Software Engineer, you're pretty much expected onsite five days a week. There aren't many remote options, which made managing personal life tough.
Advice to Management: Reboot Monkey's leadership should look into more work from home possibilities. It'd make a huge difference for engineering roles and help keep good people. Modern work needs modern solutions.
