Pay is okay, benefits need a look.
Pros: For a mid-sized consulting firm, the base pay for my Junior Analyst role in the Singapore office was pretty solid. The health insurance package is also quite comprehensive, which is a big plus.
Cons: Bonuses aren't very transparent, it's hard to tell how they're calculated. There's not much in terms of a strong retirement plan or other long-term financial perks.
Advice to Management: Make bonus structures clearer and consider enhancing the retirement benefits to stay competitive for consulting talent.

Decent Flexibility for Travel Operations Roles
Pros: I've found the hybrid work model pretty good for my role. We get a couple of WFH days each week, which is solid for avoiding the Bangkok traffic. It's nice to have that option in the tourism industry.
Cons: Sometimes getting approval for extra time off is a struggle. There's not much room to shift hours around if you have an appointment, even if your tasks are done. It can feel a bit rigid for a mid-sized company.
Advice to Management: Try to empower team leads more for scheduling flexibility. It would really help morale in the Bangkok office, especially for those in operations roles.

Decent Work-Life, But Expect Crunch Times
Pros: The company tries for a hybrid model in the Singapore office, which is nice for some flexibility. You get to work on diverse digital marketing campaigns, so there's good learning exposure. Some team leads are really supportive when things get busy.
Cons: Work-life balance can definitely suffer during big client launches. As a Digital Marketing Specialist, I've seen weeks hit 50+ hours quite often. It's tough to plan personal stuff when project timelines are so fluid.
Advice to Management: Try to manage client expectations better from the start to avoid last-minute rushes. More realistic project timelines would greatly help with employee burnout, especially for junior and mid-level digital marketing roles.

Okay startup, but career growth is slow
Pros: You get to wear many hats as a Junior Marketing Specialist, which is great exposure in a startup setting. I've learned a lot about different digital marketing channels in the Singapore office. The team is generally solid.
Cons: There isn't a clear career path or promotion structure. It's hard to see how to advance beyond current marketing roles here. Development opportunities feel pretty limited, which can be frustrating.
Advice to Management: Management should really work on creating clearer career progression plans for employees. Defining what it takes to get promoted would help a lot, especially for junior marketing talent.

Decent Hybrid Setup, But Needs More Trust
Pros: I've enjoyed the hybrid model here in the Singapore office. As a Junior Software Developer, I can work from home two days a week, which is pretty solid for a tech company this size. It helps cut down on commute time and gives me a bit more personal time, which is key.
Cons: Sometimes the flexibility feels a bit forced. You still need manager approval for almost everything. There's not much room for true remote work beyond the fixed WFH days, even for engineering roles. It's not a fully trust-based system yet.
Advice to Management: Give teams more autonomy over their schedules. Trust your employees to get the work done, especially in software development.

Culture's okay, but it's a fast pace
Pros: The team is genuinely supportive, especially for new hires in digital marketing roles. You're empowered to try new things which is great for a startup environment. Plus, the hybrid work option is a huge plus.
Cons: Work-life balance can be tough; the expectations are high, and long hours are common. Sometimes the company culture feels a bit disorganized with changing priorities. There's not much structured feedback.
Advice to Management: Focus on clearer communication and more structured career development paths for employees. It'd help a lot with job satisfaction.

Leadership needs to step up at this mid-sized firm
Pros: Some senior folks are genuinely smart and helpful. You learn a lot about Asian markets and financial services here. The team environment for us Junior Investment Analysts can be supportive when deadlines hit.
Cons: Leadership can be really inconsistent. There's not much clear direction from upper management, especially for new projects. It's tough to get real feedback, and sometimes you feel like you're just treading water.
Advice to Management: Work on providing clearer project goals and consistent feedback loops. Invest in leadership training to ensure all managers are aligned and communicate effectively with their teams, especially for early career roles in financial services.

Solid place, but watch the late nights
Pros: I liked the team and the opportunity to work on varied digital marketing campaigns. For digital marketing roles here, there's often good flexibility, especially with remote work options on some days, which helps with commuting in Singapore.
Cons: Work-life balance can be tough during peak project times. It's not uncommon to put in extra hours, especially when client deadlines hit hard. The expectation to be always 'on' is a real thing, even with remote work.
Advice to Management: Try to enforce stricter boundaries on work hours, especially during busy periods. Encourage teams to disconnect more.

Decent place, but slow on career moves
Pros: I got to work on varied projects, which was good for building general project management skills. The team in the Singapore office was really supportive and helpful for learning the ropes as a new PM.
Cons: Career path here is a bit murky. There wasn't much structure for advancing as a Junior Project Manager. Training budgets seemed tight, so it was tough to pick up new certifications.
Advice to Management: Clearly define career paths for junior roles. Invest more in employee development and give clearer timelines for promotions.

Job security is okay, but market impact is real
Pros: The team here, especially in the Singapore office, is really supportive. I've learned a lot about the travel and tourism sector from experienced folks. The company does value its employees with decent benefits.
Cons: Job security can feel a bit up and down. As an Operations Manager, you see how market shifts really hit the bottom line. There's always a bit of worry about budget cuts or team restructuring, especially after slower seasons. It's not a rock-solid place.
Advice to Management: Management needs to be more transparent about company performance and future plans to ease employee worries. Better communication about job stability would go a long way.
