Superintendent Trainee
This is a two-year programme designed to offer an exceptional opportunity for Higher Diploma graduates in engineering disciplines to join the Authority. This role is pivotal in providing professional first-line response services and fault attendance, making the trainees an integral part of the airport's operational excellence. Our trainees will gain hands-on experience, develop critical technical skills, and be part of a team that keeps the heart of the aviation industry beating.
Throughout the programme, Superintendent Trainees will gain comprehensive exposure to various areas, including systems familiarization, incident and fault investigation, first-line maintenance practices, and system and works control. They will benefit from structured training that combines both classroom and on-the-job experiences, allowing them to acquire technical skills and knowledge in Building, Civil, Electrical and Mechanical Systems. Additionally, trainees will receive invaluable guidance and coaching from experienced mentors and skilled tutors, ensuring robust support for their professional growth.
Requirements
- Higher Diploma graduates major in Building Services, Civil, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- A passion to develop a career in the aviation industry
- Self-disciplined, willing to learn and with a can-do attitude
- Team player with good interpersonal skills
- Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese. Knowledge of Putonghua is preferred
- Perform shift duties including overnight shift are required
