This is a fixed-term contract position of minimum 2 years with possibility for renewal subject to organization need and individual performance.
Responsibilities
- To support the Manager, IT and the network team in enhancing and expanding IT systems, serving as a key liaison across departments and contributing to solution planning and delivery.
- Serving as a frontline representative for the network team by liaising with both IT and non-IT departments, actively participating in solution engagement, planning, and delivery activities aligned with the current infrastructure architecture, and providing robust, practical solutions for project deployment.
- Acting as Project Manager for IT systems enhancement initiatives, with a focus on network infrastructure installation, testing, commissioning, and knowledge transfer; coordinating with all stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and timely delivery
- Providing network support for both 2RS and 3RS project development and BAU operations, managing enabling contractors for configuration alignment, and facilitating integration into the 2RS network infrastructure.
- Performing network maintenance and executing system upgrades on IT equipment, while optimising the utilisation of network monitoring and automation tools; ensuring adherence to established architecture, standards, procedures and methodologies.
- Delivering first- and second-line support for network infrastructure components, including routers, switches, load balancers, firewall and network monitoring tools. Responsibilities also encompass preparing and implementing firewall/ACL configurations and conducting joint testing with other project teams and vendors. System support and ad-hoc technical assignments may be required outside-standard office hours.
Requirements:
- Degree holder in Information Technology, Computer Science or related disciplines with at least 3 years of IT work experience and with 2 years’ relevant experience in IT Network Operations and/or Network Project Deployment related disciplines.
- Professional certifications in Networking, Information Security and Project Management are a plus (i.e. CCNP, HCIP, CISSP, PMP, etc.)
- Solid experience in deploying routers, switches, load balancers, firewalls, AI tools, etc.
- Good knowledge in data center network (SDN), enterprise campus LAN, Wi-Fi and IT Security
- Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese with knowledge of Putonghua is an advantage
- Holder of a valid HK driving license (Class 1, 2) is preferred
