As an integral part of the Global Operations Sourcing Team, you will contribute to shaping the global strategy and supplier base for a core product category. The team is composed of dedicated individuals, each with specific roles and responsibilities, reporting to the Sourcing Manager. Together, we work towards the vision of ensuring a robust and efficient supply chain to meet our business goals.
Responsibilities
- Support global sourcing strategy and supplier base, including new supplier sourcing and assessment
- Monitor and manage supplier performance, including risk assessment and compliance
- Conduct frequent FOB analysis and negotiate terms for optimal cost savings
- Manage seasonal business allocations and critical program reallocations
- Assist in consolidating and releasing policies and agreements
- Initiate and participate in supplier and cross-functional meetings
- Ensure compliance with general supplier agreements and social compliance standards
- Maintain supplier master data, update PLMs, and support sourcing projects
- 10+ years’ working knowledge of the apparel industry, covering management, merchandising, and manufacturing
- Experience in strategic vendor management, especially with Asian and European vendors, and managing global suppliers
- Excellent negotiation and organisational abilities
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to balance sourcing requirements with technical and commercial business needs
- Excellent written and verbal English communication
- Self-directed with strong business acumen, capable of driving solutions
- Excellent Excel data analysis & PowerPoint presentation
- Knowledge for PLM system will be of an advantage
- Occasional travel is required
