Perform routine and preventative maintenance on electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems (including UPS, generators, chillers, CRAC units, PDUs, and switchgear)
Monitor building management systems (BMS), DCIM tools, and alarm platforms to ensure optimal performance and immediate response to anomalies
Execute safe switching procedures, load bank testing, and emergency response protocols in accordance with SOPs and change management policies
Maintain accurate logs, documentation, and compliance records for all operational activities
Collaborate with client stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams to support facility upgrades, audits, and incident investigations
Adhere strictly to health, safety, environmental, and security standards at all times

Required
Desired experience and technical skills
Technical diploma, associate degree, or equivalent certification in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field
Proven experience (typically 2+ years) operating or maintaining critical infrastructure in data centres, colocation facilities, or similarly mission-critical environments
Strong understanding of power distribution architectures (e.g., N+1, 2N), cooling methodologies, and redundancy principles
Certifications such as EPA 608, OSHA 30, NFPA 70E, or relevant vendor training (e.g., Vertiv, Schneider, Cummins) are highly desirable
Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required by 24/7 operations
Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and clear communication abilities
