About the Client
Our client is a leading HK listed company. They are looking for a seasoned and hands-on Investor Relations Director to join their group finance team in Hong Kong.
About the Role
- Support Group CFO in managing investor and shareholder communications, results announcements and IR activities for the Group, ensuring clear, timely and compliant disclosure to the investment community.
- Drive and execute the Group's investor relations plan, aligning messaging with Group strategy, financial performance and ESG priorities.
- Prepare and maintain high‑quality IR materials, including results presentations, press releases, Q&A, factsheets, and sections of interim/annual reports with minimal supervision.
- Coordinate interim and annual results briefings, investor/analyst meetings, roadshows and small group meetings.
- Monitor market and peer information (share price movements, analyst reports, competitor results) and provide regular updates and insights to Group CEO, Group CFO and senior management.
- Maintain and enhance the IR and shareholder database, track meeting records and investor interactions, and ensure accurate documentation of engagement history.
- Handle day‑to‑day investor and analyst enquiries, drafting responses for senior management and ensuring consistent, professional communication.
- Collaborate with Group Finance, Company Secretary, ESG, Marketing and Group Communications to support regulatory announcements, corporate transactions and key disclosure documents.
- Support ongoing investor targeting initiatives, identify potential new investors and help broaden and deepen coverage in the investment community.
- Provide analytical support on financial and valuation topics (peer benchmarking, consensus tracking, shareholding analysis) to support management decision‑making.
The Successful Applicant
- Degree holder in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or related discipline
- CPA or CFA qualification is preferred.
- At least 8 years of relevant experience in investor relations, equity research, corporate finance, FP&A or related roles.
- Strong financial modelling, analytical and presentation skills, with solid understanding of financial statements, valuation and HKEx listing/disclosure requirements.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
- With strong stakeholder management skills to work closely with C‑suite and external investors.
- Proactive, detail‑minded and able to work independently under pressure.
