Job Description
- Participate in Agile development teams to build scalable applications and backend services
- Translate business requirements into effective technical solutions
- Lead junior developers in system enhancement projects and production issue resolution
- Design and implement customer-facing backend services with performance and reliability in mind
- Proactively identify and resolve defects using appropriate tools and creative problem-solving
- Evaluate and propose technical options that align with both business needs and system architecture
The Successful Applicant
- Minimum 3 years of experience in application development and system support
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience in key technologies: Java Spring Boot, React Native, NodeJS
- Familiarity with MongoDB and scalable backend architecture
- Strong skills in technical solution design and troubleshooting
- Proven experience leading 2-5 junior developers and collaborating with offshore teams
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA)
- Experience in mid-scale enhancements across web platforms, batch jobs, and backend systems
- Exposure to penetration test vulnerability remediation is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Candidates with less experience may be considered for developer-level roles
- Skilled in written and spoken Chinese and English
