Okay flexibility, but room for improvement
Pros: I liked the hybrid work model. As an HR Coordinator in the Austin, TX office, I could work from home two days a week. It really helped with my commute and personal appointments. The company culture is pretty solid among colleagues.
Cons: The WFH options aren't always consistent. Some HR consulting teams have less flexibility, needing to be onsite more often. It can be tough if you need full remote work, especially for entry-level HR roles. There's not much wiggle room during core hours.
Advice to Management: Consider making work flexibility more uniform across all teams. It'd help a lot for people in all HR roles, not just senior staff. Maybe offer more full remote options for specific roles.

Okay Culture for Remote HR Work
Pros: I've been a Recruitment Specialist here for a while. The remote work setup is great; it's a true work-from-home model. The virtual team is supportive, especially within the talent acquisition department.
Cons: Sometimes the company culture feels a bit lacking in engagement. There aren't many organized social events for a remote mid-sized company. Career growth for HR roles can feel slow.
Advice to Management: Try to implement more virtual team-building activities to boost remote employee engagement. Also, a clearer path for internal career progression in HR roles would be helpful.

Decent place, but job security is a worry
Pros: I learned a lot as an HR Generalist working with various clients in HR consulting. The hybrid model is pretty solid, letting me work from home a few days a week, even for the Chicago office team.
Cons: Job security here just isn't great. There's a lot of churn, and it feels like projects can end suddenly. It makes you wonder if your role is safe long-term, especially in a mid-sized firm like this.
Advice to Management: Try to provide more stability for employees. Clear communication about project pipelines and future roles would help reduce anxiety about job security.
