Pros: I got to work on some pretty interesting infrastructure projects as a Civil Engineer. The team in the Denver, CO office was generally supportive and we had a good workflow. There's definitely a lot to learn if you stick around long enough.
Cons: Job security here is a real worry; it felt pretty unstable sometimes in engineering consulting. Layoffs popped up without much warning, which was super stressful. They don't always communicate market shifts well, especially for onsite teams.
Advice to Management: Try to be more transparent about the company's financial outlook and workforce planning. Better communication around potential layoffs would really help morale for your engineers.
