Rating Reviews
Rating is calculated based on

review and is evolving.
Pros: I've learned a ton about M&A deals and financial services. The deal flow for an Investment Banking Analyst in the New York office is really strong. You get exposure to big transactions.
Cons: Leadership can be inconsistent and communication from the top isn't always clear. It's tough trying to get proactive guidance during busy periods, especially for junior bankers. The work-life balance here is definitely challenging.
Advice to Management: Senior leadership needs to work on providing clearer expectations and better mentorship for junior bankers. More consistent guidance would really help the corporate environment.

Work-life balance can be demanding in investment banking, and roles at Piper Sandler are no exception, especially within specialized groups like tech IB. Expect long hours, but the firm generally supports employees in managing their time effectively. The culture promotes collaboration, which can help streamline workflows.
