Cons

It's common to put in long hours, especially for software development projects nearing deadlines. The on-call rotations can really mess with your personal time, making true work-life balance tough. You often feel the pressure to deliver.

Pay is Solid, Benefits Could Be Better
Pros: As a Software Engineer, my base salary was pretty competitive for the cybersecurity industry in the San Carlos, CA office. The medical benefits are actually quite good, which is a big plus.
Cons: The bonus structure isn't very generous compared to other big tech firms. Also, the 401k match is just okay, and annual raises don't really keep pace with inflation for many roles.
Advice to Management: Look into making the bonus structure more rewarding and consider boosting the 401k match to compete better with other companies in the big tech space.
