What The Role Is
You oversee, manage and formulate Army Defence Relations (DR) strategies for assigned countries.
What You Will Be Working On
- Formulate Army Defence Relations strategies
- Lead research on countries' defence policies
- Monitor geopolitical landscape and appointment changes
- Support collaboration on defence initiatives
- Facilitate military to military exchanges
- Strengthen military and defence ties between Army and assigned countries
Challenge(s) - Adapting to dynamic operational environment
What We Are Looking For
- At least 6 years of experience in related field
- Strong understanding of the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) organisations, operational concepts and systems is advantageous
- Conscientious and diplomatically inclined
- Strong initiative
- Competent knowledge of current affairs and international geopolitics
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- Strong organisational and interpersonal skills
- Effective time management abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in a vernacular language is advantageous
