What The Role Is
You conduct research and analysis on regional indigenous defence technology development and their associated industries while independently undertaking different aspects of analysis to sense-make long-term technological trajectory and trends, and their related development, and operational analysis to assess potential impact of emerging/critical development.
What You Will Be Working On
- Conduct research and analysis on regional indigenous defence technology development and their associated industries
- Undertake strategic analysis to sense-make long-term technological trajectory and trends, and their related development
- Conduct operational analysis to assess potential impact of emerging/critical development
- Engage relevant MINDEF/SAF stakeholders to inform and strategise policy formulation
- Provide analytical insights on defence technology trends to support strategic decision-making
Challenge(s)
- Keeping abreast of emerging defence technology development
- Understanding complexity of regional security
What We Are Looking For
- Education in Strategic/Security Studies, Political Science, Technological or Social Science related fields
- At least 6 years of experience in analytical or research methodology
- Good written communication skillsets
- Keen interest in regional security development
