Key Responsibilities:

In conjunction with my area (Singapore), I execute the country-wide e-commerce fulfillment strategy. This role bridges the gap between digital demand and physical execution, driving operational excellence, maximizing efficiency, and delivering a world-class customer experience.


Pillar 1: Country Operations & Fulfillment Strategy

  • Demand & Capacity Planning: Collaborate with the Digital team on e-commerce forecasting to project and secure necessary operational headcount and raw materials.
  • Infrastructure Optimization: Design and implement robust operational solutions and infrastructure capable of scaling during peak omni-channel campaigns.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor fulfillment workflows and build strict quality-control strategies to guarantee all dispatched orders meet premium standards.
  • Tech Ecosystem Alignment: Working closely with the APAC technical teams (APAC Chopper / United) to ensure platforms, tools, and workflows are optimized for cross-platform efficiency.
  • System Evolution: Engage in cross-functional meetings with United to monitor upcoming platform releases, proactively leveraging new technical features to streamline and future-proof e-commerce operations.


Pillar 2: Operational Excellence & Network Performance

  • KPI Management: Establish, review, and deliver on core e-commerce operational KPIs with transport and operation teams.
  • Process Standardization: Develop and deploy unified SOPs for online order preparation, ensuring best practices and consistency across various fulfillment operations.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive operational efficiency through productivity monitoring, maximizing picking accuracy, and securing on-time shipping (SLA) metrics.
  • Leadership & Team Mentorship: Lead and empower the Ship-from-Store (SFS) and Warehouse (WH) teams, supporting daily problem-solving while adhering to corporate competencies.
  • Financial Stewardship: Collate, monitor, and analyze logistics costs and transport balances to ensure total spend remains strictly within budget trajectories.
  • Sustainable Packaging Management: Source and negotiate with packaging suppliers to drive the company’s "Zero Plastic" initiative while maintaining uncompromised unboxing quality.
  • Customer-Centric Feedback Loops: Monitor closely with the Voice of Customer (VOC) team to analyze local market expectations and competitor services, tailoring operational responses to maximize customer satisfaction.
  • Closely monitor Customer Service touchpoints to swiftly resolve order issues while keeping systems and processes lean and uncomplicated.


Pillar 3: Last-Mile Delivery & Transport Leadership

  • Strategic Last-Mile Oversight: Partner with the dedicated Last-Mile Lead to co-develop, align, and execute cutting-edge delivery initiatives.
  • 3PL & Vendor Governance: Manage third-party carrier relationships. You will join in the weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews (QBRs) via performance reporting to support day-to-day operations.
  • Procurement & Tenders: You will work closely with the last mile lead in the yearly transport tendering process across all carriers to optimize transport costs and maintain budgetary alignment.


Requirements

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience with Ecommerce Operations
  • Passionate and committed to users - Empathy, continuous self questioning, ability to learn
  • Ability to project and think beyond next quarter.
  • I have good communication and organisation skills to work cross-functionally and manage multiple parties’ expectations, build relationships, persuade, and influence key partners
  • I am all “hands-on” / I understand that working on the shop floor is part of my daily job
  • I am a team player, I generate team collaboration
  • I am adaptable and flexible in the field of a fast paced and changing environment because you manage your activity as an entrepreneur.
  • I am CUSTOMER-CENTRIC with a strong Sense of Service and the willingness to ensure our customers are satisfied or satisfied.
  • I have a mindset of COST conscious and the ability to project and read my PnL
  • I am analytically strong, data-driven, and able to perform analyses to identify opportunities and take proactive measures to ensure a better customer experience
  • You have excellent problem-solving skills and out of the box thinker
  • I find practical and simple solutions to complex problems without sacrificing quality or core functionality, ensuring user satisfaction
  • I utilise interpersonal and communication skills among various departments to facilitate a productive and collaborative work environment.
