As a result of sustained business growth, SAESL has continued to expand its facilities and develop new capabilities for both its engine overhaul and component repair businesses. The Engine Overhaul business has the capability to service all products in the Trent engine family, this includes Trent 500, Trent 700, Trent 800, Trent 900, Trent 1000 and Trent XWB; SAESL is the only Trent engine MRO that can support all product variants. The Engine Overhaul business has the capacity to repair and overhaul over 300 Trent engines per year and it is equipped with a state-of-the-art Engine Test Facility that supports our best-in-class engine turnaround times.

Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Engine and Module Planning teams to ensure component repairs, Line Replaceable Units (LRUs), and Non-Module (NM) parts are aligned with the engine build schedule.
- Manage daily production planning activities in the ICRON scheduling system by incorporating manpower and machine capacity inputs from the respective component repair cells.
- Lead LRU/NM parts review meetings with the Engine and Module Planning teams to monitor progress against production plans, adjust schedules where necessary, and escalate issues that may impact repair targets or engine build commitments.
- Maintain and continuously optimise repair scheduling logic within the ICRON system to support changing operational and business requirements.
- Participate in repair cell capacity reviews and recommend improvements to maximise manpower, machine utilisation, and overall operational efficiency.
- Develop, monitor, and update production plans, objectives, and schedules to ensure timely execution and fulfilment of production requirements.
- Monitor planning performance, identify scheduling constraints or bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to minimise disruptions and improve workflow efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) requirements, company policies, quality standards, and all applicable regulatory requirements.
Qualification / Experience
- Degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in aerospace Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) or a production planning function is strongly preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and support operational decision-making.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including advanced data analysis and reporting functions.
- Knowledge of SAP and/or Power BI is an added advantage.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment while managing multiple priorities.
