Provide general legal administrative support to the Intellectual Property (IP) team, including invoicing, internal filing, matter tracking, document execution and document organisation.
Support IP docketing, including recording and monitoring procedural deadlines, renewal dates, and response due dates across the trademark and patent portfolio.
Support official filings, including managing trademark and patent application processes, preparing forms, collating and organising evidence, and coordinating recordals and submissions with external counsel and IP offices.
Help maintain accurate trackers, portfolio records, and status reports.
Liaise with internal stakeholders, external counsel, and IP offices on routine matters and follow-ups.
There is opportunity to progressively take on first-cut analysis and review of routine substantive IP matters under supervision as experience develops.
Other related tasks assigned from time to time.
Requirements
A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
Prior IP background or exposure (trademarks; patents), whether at a law firm or an in-house team.
Comfortable with process-driven, repetitive administrative workflows and reliable in executing them accurately.
Good at managing deadlines, trackers and follow-ups; multitask and work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
