What The Role Is
You are responsible for leading the Operations Support IT (OSIT) Logistics Operations Section in developing and implementing comprehensive logistics plans for OSIT operations. You will oversee inventory management, client deployment across MINDEF/SAF units, and the effective management of IT Concierge infrastructure.
What You Will Be Working On
- Lead the development and implementation of integrated logistics plans for OSIT operations, driving process redesign and enhancing efficiency through stakeholder engagement, demand forecasting, and inventory management and accountability
- Oversee end-to-end planning, coordination, and execution of client deployments, including post-deployment support and strategy refinement based on feedback
- Manage the full lifecycle of IT Concierge infrastructure and OSIT equipment, including installation, maintenance, decommissioning, and compliance with security and documentation standards
- Implement efficient procurement procedures and resolve discrepancies to ensure timely supplier payments
- Provide strategic leadership, foster accountability, and lead cross-functional initiatives to improve processes and service delivery
Challenge(s) - Managing high-volume, time-sensitive logistics across multiple concurrent OSIT refresh operations while effectively coordinating diverse stakeholders and balancing competing priorities under resource constraints
- Maintaining a careful balance between governance and compliance and operational urgency, ensuring that critical requirements are met efficiently without compromising on standards or accountability
What We Are Looking For
- Education in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, Operations and Logistics, or a related discipline is preferred
- At least 6 years of working experience in logistics-related areas
- Proficient in managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects with competing priorities and timelines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail and a commitment to excellence
- Strong leadership and decision-making ability
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Skilled in negotiation, stakeholder engagement, and dispute resolution.
- Effective steward of resources
