Leading and coaching a team of Account Directors/Managers in delivering omnichannel media solutions that span across various media platforms including broadcast, radio, digital, OOH, social, events and talents.
Responsible for developing and implementing strategies to achieve the goals and objectives of the group.
SCOPE OF THE ROLE
Build strong relationships with key clients, agencies and partners.
Take charge of conversations with key internal stakeholders from other departments.
Good grasp of sector knowledge, market trends and insights to facilitate building relevant omnichannel solutioning to clients.
Strong leadership, commercial acumen, and deep understanding of cross platform media ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities & Challenges
Achieve group sales target set by Mediacorp.
Mentor a team of Account Directors/Managers and ensure overall quality of work on team members' accounts.
Coach and develop team members to strengthen business acumen, strategic thinking and client engagement skills.
Develop and maintain client satisfaction and continuous client relationship building.
Direct sales team members in proposals and leading tailored presentations to clients that are backed with data and insights.
Support and integrate sales strategies and objectives to drive and achieve sales revenue for sectors under his/her care.
Assist with problem resolutions when team members encounter challenges and/or issues.
Provide feedback to management on competitive landscape, industry trends and insights.
Foster a high-performance, collaborative, and solutions-oriented sales culture.
Identify and groom the next in line (potential rising star) within the group.
Responsible for accuracy in revenue projection and forecast.
Assist Division Lead in budget submission.
Qualifications
Degree or equivalent
8-10 years sales experience of which 5 years in leading a sales team
Solid track record
Good networking and strong relationship with key media players
Strong Interpersonal and leadership skills
Calm, composed and ability to resolve issues
Strategic thinking with an eye for growth, revenue, and integrated solutioning opportunities
Good command of English to communicate clearly and effectively
