• Lead data integration and linkage efforts between manufacturing systems (e.g., MES, testing & quality systems) to enable end-to-end product genealogy tracking and operational visibility.
• Support data onboarding, cleansing, and structured analysis for manufacturing process monitoring tools (e.g., Spotfire, Power BI, or equivalent).

Digital Transformation & Innovation

• Act as a technical point person for MFG IT application and integration project requests — evaluating feasibility, defining technical approaches, and coordinating delivery priorities.
• Drive digitalization initiatives including manufacturing line automation, IoT integrations, AI/ML proof-of-concept implementations (e.g., computer vision for defect analysis, smartwatch-based applications), and digital worker agent platforms.
• Evaluate and introduce emerging technologies relevant to smart manufacturing and Industry 4.0 objectives.

Technical Leadership & Mentorship

• Provide technical guidance, coaching to junior developers and peers within the MFG IT App team.
• Lead architectural discussions and propose technical standards, design patterns, and best practices for the team.
• Support knowledge transfer, documentation, and continuity planning to safeguard organizational knowledge.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Project Coordination

• Collaborate closely with business users, process engineers, IT network/server teams, and analytical teams to translate manufacturing requirements into effective IT solutions.
• Coordinate task delivery across multi-site teams, managing timelines and escalating risks proactively.
• Participate actively in Agile stand-up meeting — sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives — and contribute to continuous improvement of delivery practices.
• Review and maintain technical documentation, solution design documents, and user manuals.

By analyzing performance, identifying opportunities, and aligning with our clients' commercial objectives, the team develops and executes data-backed strategies that maximize conversion and revenue. With a strong grasp of category dynamics and platform trends, and driving collaboration and coordination across other functions internally, Brand Management plays a key role in shaping long-term brand success in the digital commerce space.

The part you will play

As the Assistant Team Lead  you will be responsible for driving the top-line growth of our business in Malaysia; ranging from building up and mentoring key account managers, liaising closely and building ambition plans with top brand/seller partners, developing processes to ensure ecommerce success for brand and seller partners, conducting regular analysis to understand the impact of category/brand decisions in performance and implementing regional/local initiatives to drive growth.

As an Assistant Team Lead (eCommerce Brand Management), you will take charge of:

• Ensure that all brand and store KPIs are met on time.
• Analyze sales performance and advise clients on how to grow their ecommerce sales in a sustainable way. Drive sales through stock availability, pricing competitiveness, innovative promotional schemes, effective merchandising and targeted assortment growth.
• Grow revenue and profitability for Intrepid by partnering with Business Development on offering new value adding services to clients, optimizing commercial terms with existing clients and scaling existing operational processes.
• Maintain close relationships with both brands and ecommerce platforms. Interact daily with partners to ensure timely and effective implementation of strategy.
• Coach and develop your team members.
• Developing cross-functional strategy to grow sellers' business and ensure smooth operations;
• Managing pricing competitiveness, assortment, stock availability of key products offered by the sellers.

What we are looking for - the ideal profile

• University degree
• Proficient in English
• Minimum 6-8 years of relevant work experience in Ecommerce, ideally with a platform (Lazada / Shopee), with another enabler, or with a brand or distributor.
• Strong interpersonal, relationship and communication, listening and negotiation skills.
• Strong ecommerce knowledge and analytical skills.
• Network with ecommerce platforms in Malaysia.
• Commercial performance-driven mindset, flexible & collaborative attitude, looking to make an impact and thriving in a fast-paced start-up environment.
• Experience in ecommerce campaign plans.
