Finance Project Controller (Real Estate/Construction)

About The Role
We are seeking a disciplined and highly analytical
Project Controller to join our Executive Office. In this role, you will report directly to the CEO with a matrix reporting line to the COO. You will be the primary link between internal operations and external finance/accounting support teams, ensuring that all project records, procurement, and expenses remain strictly aligned with approved budgets.
Key Responsibilities
- Cost Control & Budget Management (20%): Lead project cost monitoring, budget control, and procurement oversight across multiple projects.
- Financial Analysis & Forecasting (20%): Drive cost-saving initiatives, value engineering reviews, and sustainable financing strategies through rigorous project financial analysis.
- Strategic Planning & Support: Support the COO in strategic planning, project evaluations, and operational decision-making.
- Systems & Reporting (10%): Develop per-project P&Ls, financial dashboards, and governance controls to strengthen financial discipline.
- Policy & Compliance: Propose and implement policies for tax efficiency, internal controls, and reporting integrity.
- Team Leadership: Build and manage the Project Control function and develop related team members over time.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Industrial Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Certification: CPA preferred.
- Experience: 3–5 years of relevant experience in construction, project finance, cost control, or real estate development handling multiple projects.
- Technical Skills: * Strong background in project budgeting, cash flow monitoring, and procurement controls.
- Proficient in Spreadsheets, ERP/accounting systems, and reporting tools.
- Background (Advantages): * Audit background from Big 4 or mid-sized firms.
- Exposure to feasibility studies, value engineering, or project financing.
- Graduates from PUP-QC, PLM, or QCU are highly preferred.
