Operate and maintain a variety of machine tools such as lathes, mills, grinders, and drill presses to fabricate, repair, and modify metal parts and components
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to ensure accurate and precise machining
Perform preventive maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime
Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with equipment and machinery, and implement solutions to resolve problems
Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety protocols and procedures
Collaborate with the production team to ensure timely and efficient completion of projects
What We're Looking For
Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Machinist or in a similar role within the manufacturing industry
Proficient in the use of various machine tools, hand tools, and precision measuring instruments
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of safety practices and procedures in a manufacturing environment
