Project Engineer
Universal Robina Corporation is looking for a Project Engineer.
The Project Engineer ensures correct, timely, on-budget and safe delivery and completion of assigned CAPEX projects. He drives the project requirements and performs necessary coordination with the Engineering Systems Design, contractors and all project stakeholders.
What are the Roles and Responsibilities?
- Implements all project scopes on the assigned projects, covering all disciplines as Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Process and Packaging.
- Effectively coordinates across all disciplines of the Engineering Systems Design, to effect smooth implementation of the project scopes.
- Interfaces with the project contractors, ensuring timely, safe and correct delivery and implementation of scope packages through regular coordination meetings and site supervision.
- Assists the Project Manager in managing committed timeline for the assigned project, driving completion of project requirements.
- Deploys and monitors established safety compliance strategies, and liase with EHS Engineer for critical concerns.
- Prepares and provides necessary reports for proper monitoring of the progress of the project.
- Promptly resolves project concerns and escalates those critical ones which would need higher authority approval, including all scope changes for awarded scopes.
- Supports his immediate superior in rolling out implementation plan cascades and in monitoring progress of the projects, covering all contractors at site.
- Performs any other tasks which may be assigned to him by his immediate superior.
What are the Qualifications?
- BS degree in any engineering
- Computer literate
- With basic technical knowledge and skills in fundamental problem-solving
- With experienced in project management and/or project engineering works is an advantage.
