The Junior Systems Engineer will assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of integrated systems, including hardware, network infrastructure, and technical solutions. This role involves both office-based and field work, supporting project deployment, troubleshooting, and ensuring system functionality. The ideal candidate is technically inclined, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, installation, and configuration of systems and equipment
- Support implementation of network infrastructure, including setup and basic configuration
- Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics for hardware, software, and network-related issues
- Prepare technical drawings and layouts using AutoCAD and/or SketchUp
- Coordinate with clients, suppliers, and internal teams for project requirements and updates
- Conduct site visits and field work as required
- Conduct product training sessions for clients and internal teams
- Develop training manuals and technical documentation
- Document system configurations, procedures, and project updates
- Provide technical support during and after project deployment
- Ensure compliance with company standards and project specifications
- Assist in continuous improvement of systems and processes
Qualifications
- Graduate of any vocational or bachelors degree related to Electronics, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a similar field
- Basic knowledge of hardware design and modern computer architecture/system design principles
- Familiar with network configuration, including basic setup, troubleshooting, and IP networking concepts
- Basic programming knowledge in Arduino, C++, HTML, or similar languages is an advantage
- Experience in infrastructure-related technical work is an advantage
- Proficient in AutoCAD and SketchUp for technical layouts and system design
- Knowledgeable in modern computer systems, components, and integration
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Fast learner, adaptable, and willing to undergo technical training
- Demonstrates initiative and leadership potential
- Willing to perform field work nationwide when required
- Available for full-time onsite employment (Monday to Friday)
- Preferably residing in Pasig, Mandaluyong, or nearby areas
