What This Role Actually Is
You’re not starting from scratch. I already have a large library of B-roll, property footage, and behind-the-scenes content.
Your job is to turn unused footage into high-performing social media content. If you like digging through content, spotting what works, and turning it into something people actually watch, you’ll do well here.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Review and organize a large library of video footage (B-roll, listings, lifestyle)
- Identify usable clips and turn them into short-form content (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts)
- Edit videos with a strong eye for pacing, hooks, and retention
- Apply basic color correction and ensure visual consistency
- Add captions, text overlays, and trending audio where appropriate
- Ideate and storyboard posts based on existing footage
- Batch and schedule content across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Facebook
- Track what performs and adjust accordingly
- Stay on top of social trends and apply them intelligently (not blindly)
- Create content that reflects Boston lifestyle, neighborhoods, and real estate culture
You
- Strong video editing skills (CapCut, Final Cut, Adobe Premiere, etc.)
- Understands how to make short-form content that actually gets watched
- Has an eye for visuals, color, and clean composition
- Organized and able to work through large volumes of content efficiently
- Self-starter who doesn’t need hand-holding
- Familiar with Boston neighborhoods, lifestyle, and culture (this matters)
- Comfortable working independently and hitting deadlines
Bonus Points (Not Required, But Obvious When You Have It)
- You’ve grown or managed a social media account
- You understand hooks, watch time, and retention (not just “posting content”)
- Experience with AI tools for editing or content optimization
- Interest in real estate, branding, or entrepreneurship
