The Role:

As a Video Editor, you'll be responsible for editing both long-form YouTube videos and short-form content for TikTok and Instagram. You'll own the full editing pipeline — from raw footage to publish-ready assets — working directly with our founder to produce content that builds audience, drives engagement, and showcases our perspective on performance marketing, AI, and creative strategy. You'll collaborate closely with the wider creative team to maintain a consistent visual style while experimenting with new formats.


What we're looking for:

  • You have 2+ years of video editing experience, ideally for creators or brands in marketing, tech, or business
  • You can edit punchy, high-retention short-form content with strong hooks, pacing, captions, b-roll, and sound design
  • You can edit long-form YouTube videos that hold attention — thoughtful cuts, clean pacing, graphics and overlays where needed
  • You understand the difference between YouTube pacing and TikTok/Reels pacing, and adapt accordingly
  • You can identify the best moments in long-form footage and repurpose them into shorts without heavy direction
  • You are detail-orientated, organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • You're open minded and willing to learn
  • You are comfortable communicating learnings with both team members and our founder
  • You love all things content and editing. It's a topic you geek out on…studying creators, spotting editing trends & hunting down new techniques is fun for you


What you'll be doing:

  • Editing 1 long-form YouTube video per week, plus any supporting clips needed for distribution
  • Editing 4–5 short-form videos per week for TikTok and Instagram — a mix of originals and clips pulled from long-form
  • Owning the editing pipeline end-to-end: receiving raw footage, flagging the strongest moments, editing, revising, and delivering publish-ready files
  • Adding captions, b-roll, motion graphics, and sound design appropriate to each platform
  • Keeping a consistent visual style across all content while experimenting with new formats when something's working
  • Keeping a pulse on what's performing in short-form and long-form so we can sharpen the edit style over time


Team Interaction

  • Slack: For all communication (gifs & memes are welcomed)
  • Weekly Calls: We hold weekly check-ins with the creative teams as well as creative trainings twice every week. This is a chance to get the creative juices flowing and keep sharpening the knife. All calls are held between 2pm-6pm GMT on Mondays and Wednesdays.
  • Yearly retreat: Every year we'll all fly to somewhere cool, reflect on the year, celebrate progress and play games!
  • More ideas: As a remote team, we're always looking for new ways to bring everyone closer. For example, Quarterly Games Days and Team Lunches!
