In essence, a C# programmer is a skilled professional who uses their knowledge of the C# language to create functional and effective software solutions.

A C# developer is a software developer who specializes in writing code using the C# programming language. Responsibilities include debugging and optimizing code, integrating with APIs, and collaborating with other developers to deliver robust software solutions.

C# Language Expertise:

• They possess a strong understanding of the C# programming language, its syntax, and its features
• C# is a versatile, object-oriented programming language developed by Microsoft

.NET Framework:

• C# is closely associated with the .NET framework, so C# programmers often work within this environment
• They utilize the .NET framework's libraries and tools to build various applications

Software Development:

• Their primary responsibility is to design, develop, test, and maintain software applications
• This can include desktop applications, web applications, mobile apps, games, and more

EDI Integration:

• Design, develop, and manage Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) integrations for transactions such as purchase orders, invoices, and advance ship notices (ASNs) within the NetSuite environment

Create Middleware Solutions:

• Develop custom middleware to handle complex data transformations, business logic, and communication between NetSuite and third-party services

Build External Applications:

• Create standalone desktop and web applications in C# that interact with NetSuite data to provide custom functionality, user interfaces, and specialized tools for our business teams

Develop Custom Integrations:

• Design and build seamless, scalable integrations between NetSuite and other .NET-based enterprise systems using SuiteTalk (SOAP/REST) APIs.

What we are looking for:

To be successful in this role you must…

• Writing clean, efficient, and reliable code
• Debugging and troubleshooting software issues
• Collaborating with other developers and team members
• Designing software architecture and implementing solutions
• Testing and quality assurance of developed software
• Experience with EDI standards (e.g., ANSI X12, EDIFACT) and transaction sets
• Demonstrated experience working with NetSuite's SuiteTalk APIs (both SOAP and REST)
