Pay range: Php 104,000 to 142,000
We are looking for a
Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our engineering team in Manila and help design, build, and operate reliable cloud platforms that support critical digital services.
Sitting at the intersection of software engineering, cloud infrastructure, and production operations, this role will work closely with different teams to ensure systems are scalable, observable, and resilient, using automation and modern cloud practices to reduce operational toil.

What will you do as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer?
As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, you will take a leading role in improving how our platforms are designed, deployed, and operated. Main accountabilities include, but are not limited to:
- Build and maintain reliable, scalable cloud platforms by driving automation, improving observability, and reducing operational toil.
- Lead incident response, guide root‑cause reviews, and deliver engineering improvements that increase system resilience.
- Support AWS environments, infrastructure‑as‑code practices, and internal tooling that improves deployment and operational efficiency.

What makes you the ideal candidate for this role?
Essential Experience
- Operating and troubleshooting production systems in cloud environments, preferably AWS, with strong knowledge of distributed systems and reliability engineering.
- Building automation using Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages, and reducing operational toil through tooling and process improvement.
- Using monitoring, logging, and observability platforms to identify risks and improve service health.
- Working with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure‑as‑code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Applying networking fundamentals including DNS, TCP/IP, load balancing, and firewalls.
- Collaborating in Git-based workflows within engineering teams.
Desirable Experience
- Implementing SLOs/SLIs, error budgets, and improving observability or telemetry pipelines.
- Working with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and applying cloud security practices (IAM, encryption).
- Contributing to platform engineering or reliability frameworks.
