Description
The Quantity Surveyor MEPFS (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Firefighting & Security Systems) is responsible for managing all cost and contractual aspects related to MEPFS works in construction projects. The role ensures accurate cost estimation, budgeting, cost control, valuation, and contract administration throughout the project lifecycle.

The QS MEPFS works closely with project managers, engineers, procurement teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure financial efficiency and commercial compliance of MEPFS packages.
Key Duties And Responsibilities
- Prepare and review bill of quantities, bill of materials and budget, and provide accurate and timely estimates for construction projects.
- Assists in monitoring the project costs, identifying and managing potential overruns or budget constrains.
- Support the Bidding and procurement process, ensuring compliance with legal and contractual obligations.
- Prepare and submit bills and invoices to clients, managing the documentation and reporting process.
- communicate with project team and stakeholder providing guidance and support on cost-related matters.
- Analyze project data and generate reports, identifying trends, area for improvement, and opportunities to optimize project costs.
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed to ensure that cost are aligned with project goals and budgets.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation related to cost estimates, bill of quantities and materials, and other relevant data.
Qualifications
- At least 1 (one) year work experience as Quantity Surveyor
- BS Civil/Electrical Engineering Graduate
- Has knowledge in estimating, AutoCAD and Planswift
