ANTED: $1.5k–$2.5k monthly
Contractual part-time (hopefully more hours soon) 100% Remote Motion Graphics Proficiency REQUIRED
We're building out our YouTube presence and we need an editor who can turn raw footage into scroll-stopping, high-retention YouTube videos. This isn't a "cut the ums out" gig — we want an editor who thinks in hooks, pacing, and motion graphics that keep viewers glued to the screen.
Oh, and we're offering $250 if you refer the person we hire.
What We're Looking For
✅ Exceptional English skills (so you understand context, jokes, and storytelling)
✅ 2+ years editing long-form YouTube content (10+ min videos)
✅ Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro AND Adobe After Effects (non-negotiable)
✅ Strong motion graphics skills — typography animations, lower thirds, transitions, callouts, animated B-roll overlays
✅ Understanding of YouTube retention: hook crafting, pattern interrupts, pacing, jump cuts
✅ Ability to color grade, clean audio, and deliver export-ready files
✅ Fast turnaround without sacrificing quality
✅ Comfortable receiving feedback and iterating quickly
What You'll Actually Do 🎬 Edit long-form YouTube videos from raw footage to final export 🎬 Design and animate custom motion graphics, lower thirds, and visual callouts 🎬 Build hooks that kill drop-off in the first 30 seconds 🎬 Color grade and mix audio to a professional standard 🎬 Create thumbnails or work alongside a thumbnail designer 🎬 Source B-roll, stock footage, and sound design when needed
What We Don't Care About ❌ Degrees or fancy certificates ❌ Your age or where you're based ❌ Whether you've worked with "big creators" — show us your work
What You Get 📚 Clear briefs, reference videos, and brand guidelines 🚀 The chance to grow with Mailzy as our YouTube channel scales 💸 $1.5k–$2.5k/month depending on experience and output
Who This Isn't For If you only know Premiere and outsource motion graphics, this isn't for you. If you miss deadlines, this isn't for you. We want a craftsperson who obsesses over frame-perfect edits.
