Job Description
We are looking for an experienced SAP Business One Lead to oversee the implementation, configuration, optimization, and support of SAP Business One across our organization. This role will serve as the key liaison between business units and the technical team to ensure that the system aligns with operational and financial goals. The ideal candidate has a strong background in business process management and hands-on expertise in SAP B1 modules, particularly in Finance, Logistics, and Production.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end implementation, support, and enhancement of SAP Business One.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to align SAP B1 capabilities with operational and financial requirements.
- Define system strategies, roadmaps, and best practices to improve productivity and data integrity.
- Act as the subject matter expert for SAP B1 Finance and Operations modules.
- Analyze and streamline financial processes for accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
- Partner with Finance and Operations teams to identify automation and process improvement opportunities.
- Supervise internal SAP B1 support staff and coordinate with external vendors/consultants for troubleshooting and upgrades.
- Conduct training sessions and create user documentation for end-users and power users.
- Monitor system performance and manage service requests or enhancements
- Manage small to mid-size SAP B1 projects, including requirements gathering, testing, UAT, go-live, and hypercare.
- Ensure compliance with change control processes and documentation standards.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in SAP Business One, with 2+ years in a supervisory or lead role.
- Strong functional expertise in SAP B1 Finance and Operations modules.
- Experience in SME, distribution, retail, or manufacturing environments.
- Knowledge of SQL queries, Crystal Reports, and SAP B1 Add-ons is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Solid understanding of business operations, finance processes, and internal controls.
- Leadership ability with team coordination experience.
