About The Role
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented
Accounting Assistant to support the day-to-day accounting and financial operations of our growing startup. The ideal candidate is organized, eager to learn, and capable of handling basic accounting tasks while assisting in maintaining accurate financial records.
Key Responsibilities
- Record and maintain daily financial transactions.
- Assist in preparing invoices, official receipts, vouchers, and other accounting documents.
- Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- Perform bank reconciliations and assist in cash monitoring.
- Organize and maintain accounting files and financial records.
- Assist in payroll preparation and government compliance requirements, when needed.
- Support the preparation of monthly financial reports.
- Coordinate with suppliers, clients, and internal departments regarding financial transactions.
- Assist with other accounting and administrative tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Financial Management, or a related field.
- With at least three (3) years of related experience.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with accounting software is an advantage but not required.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and trustworthy.
- Can work with minimum supervision.
