We’re currently looking for a Recruiting Specialist to join our on-demand hospitality staffing startup. This role is ideal for someone who can juggle multiple priorities, stay organized, think ahead, and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
The Recruiting Specialist will manage the end-to-end recruitment process with a strong focus on high-volume phone screening, interviewing candidates, moving them through the hiring pipeline, and making sure all onboarding documentation is completed accurately. The ideal candidate is comfortable spending a large part of the day on calls, enjoys connecting with people, communicates well, and has a sharp eye for identifying top talent.
Key Responsibilities:
Interview Coordination and Assessment:
- Conduct high-volume phone screenings and interviews to evaluate candidate qualifications and determine the next steps in the hiring process.
- Manage candidates throughout the recruitment pipeline by scheduling interviews, following up, and ensuring timely progression through each stage.
- Assist hiring managers in developing effective interview questions and assessment tools.
Candidate Communication and Experience:
- Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process, providing timely updates and feedback.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience by addressing inquiries and providing support as needed.
Onboarding and Documentation:
- Guide candidates through the onboarding process and ensure all required employment documentation is completed accurately before their start date.
- Review and coordinate contractor and W-2 employment paperwork, along with any other required hiring documents, to ensure compliance and a smooth onboarding experience.
- Coordinate onboarding sessions and facilitate a seamless transition for new hires.
Process Improvement and Collaboration:
- Work with the operations team to identify areas for process improvement and implement effective solutions.
- Participate in recruitment-related projects and initiatives to enhance overall efficiency.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in recruiting and interviewing candidates.
- 1+ years WFH experience.
- Comfortable making 25-50 calls per day to applicants, depending on business volume.
- Experience managing candidates throughout the recruitment process, from initial screening through onboarding.
- Experience handling onboarding documentation, including contractor and W-2 employment forms, or similar employment paperwork.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Experience with remote work and familiarity with virtual recruitment tools and platforms.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment software.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Experience with automation tools (e.g., Zapier, Airtable) is a plus.
- Must be available to work graveyard shift aligned with US time zones
- Reliable internet connection and dedicated work-from-home setup required
Salary and Benefits:
- Base salary: PHP 55,000 per month
- Paid Time Off + Paid Holidays
